Welcome aboard! At Waves, your safety and enjoyment are our top priority. Please take a moment to review this quick orientation before heading out on the water.

✅ Safety First

• Life Jackets: Coast Guard–approved vests are provided and must be worn at all times.

• Operator Requirements: Must be of legal age and meet Florida boating requirements. Valid ID required.

• No Alcohol or Drugs: Operating any equipment under the influence is strictly prohibited.

• Weather Awareness: Rentals may be rescheduled due to unsafe conditions (lightning, storms, strong winds).

🚤 Equipment Use

• Tubing / Tow Sports: Only use designated ropes and handles provided by Waves. Riders must hold on securely and stay seated/kneeling as intended.

• Wakeboarding & Kneeboarding: Riders should start in deep, open water. Keep clear of docks, swimmers, and other vessels.

• Paddle Boarding: Always maintain balance in the center of the board. Use provided paddles only. Beginners should start on calm water.

📋 Before You Launch

1. Check-In: We’ll go over your rental agreement, safety briefing, and equipment checklist.

2. Dock Setup: Waves will deliver and secure all gear to your dock.

3. Quick Demo: Our team will demonstrate how to safely start, ride, and return each piece of equipment.

🕒 During Your Rental

• Always keep a safe distance from swimmers, docks, and other boats.

• Report any equipment issues immediately by calling our service number.

• Keep life jackets on — no exceptions.

• Waves will return to pick up and secure all equipment.

• Please ensure gear is free of damage and returned in good condition.

• Notify us of any incidents or concerns during your rental.
