Waves Terms & Conditions
By renting from Waves, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before completing your booking.
1. Rental Eligibility
• Renters must be 18 years or older with a valid government-issued ID.
• A valid boating license may be required depending on state/local laws.
• The renter is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local boating regulations.
2. Rental Period
• Rental periods begin and end at the times stated in your booking confirmation.
• Late returns may incur additional hourly or daily fees.
• Waves reserves the right to reclaim equipment not returned on time.
3. Equipment Use & Responsibility
• Watercraft must be used safely and responsibly at all times.
• Renters must not operate watercraft under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances.
• The renter is responsible for the safe operation of the watercraft and assumes liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages during the rental period.
4. Condition of Equipment
• All watercraft and accessories are inspected before delivery.
• Renters must return equipment in the same condition as received, except for normal wear from safe use.
• Damages, loss, or excessive cleaning may result in additional charges.
5. Liability Waiver
• By renting, the renter agrees to assume all risk of injury, damage, or loss arising from use of the equipment.
• Waves is not liable for accidents, personal injuries, property damage, or loss of personal items during the rental period.
• Renters are strongly encouraged to use provided safety equipment at all times.
6. Payments & Security
• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• A valid credit card may be required for a security deposit.
• Charges for damages, late returns, or violations will be applied to the payment method on file.
7. Customer Conduct
• Renters must comply with all laws, safety rules, and waterway regulations.
• Disorderly conduct, unsafe operation, or misuse may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.

Waves Return Policy
At Waves, we’re committed to making your watercraft rental experience simple, safe, and enjoyable. Please review our Return Policy to understand your responsibilities and our process.

1. Terms of Return
• Rentals must be returned at the agreed-upon time and location stated in your reservation.
• Late returns may be subject to additional hourly or daily rental fees.
• Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your scheduled rental to be eligible for a refund or reschedule.
2. State of Return
• All watercraft and accessories must be returned in the same condition as delivered, allowing for normal wear from proper use.
• Customers are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required due to misuse or neglect.
• Safety gear (e.g., life jackets) must also be returned in good condition.
3. Returning Equipment
• To arrange a return, customers must be present at the agreed-upon pickup dock at the scheduled time.
• If you need to adjust your return time, please contact Waves Customer Service as early as possible.
• Failure to return equipment on time or at the proper location may result in additional charges.
4. Refunds
• Refunds for cancellations (when eligible) will be processed back to the original payment method.
• Refunds typically appear within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
• Any deductions for damages or late fees will be communicated clearly before processing.
